dated Showa ninen aki saku (made in Showa 2 [1927], autumn), and signed Hasui with artist's seal Kawase, with publisher's mark Rumi (Bijutsusha), the title on the right-hand margin, Nikko Kegon-no-taki

oban tate-e 15 1/4 by 10 1/4 in., 38.8 by 26 cm

In the late 1920's the publishing firm Bijutsusha (in Yotsuya, Tokyo) published this series of tweleve prints, with eight landscapes by Hasui, and four prints depicting beauties by Yamakawa Shuho (1898-1944).
