Accompanied by an original wood storage box, with lid inscription Fudo Myoo sonei ippuku (portrait of Fudo Myoo), Koshu Kashiwao-yama jubutsu (property of Kashiwao Mountain, Koshu Province), Koseno Kanaoka no zu (painting after Koseno Kanaoka), and signed Seisei Rihaku Hoji haisha with artist's seal Keikyo
According to the inscription on the lid, this painting is copied after a portrait of Fudo Myoo which was in the collection of Daizenji Temple, Koshu Province (Yamanashi Prefecture). The original painting was attributed to Koseno Kanaoka, a legendary 10th century painter.
