In addition to the white mica ground First Night, and the stark black ground of Cool Breeze, this print is one of three variant nudes which Binnie made using the figure from Eisen no Aizuri-e, the most recent female subject from his ukiyo-e tatoo series, Edo zumi hyaku shoku (A Hundred Shades of Ink of Edo).
