The actor Bando Takesaburo I is in the role of Oguri Hangan from the play Sekai no hana Oguri gaiden (Worldly Flowers, an Oguri Anecdote). Fujisawa is the location of the gravesite of the historical 15th century warrior Oguri Hangan. A complementary print in this series depicts the beauty Okama, whose love he had to refuse due to his betrothal to the Princess Terute.
