The actor Nakamura Tsuruzo (Nakamura Nakazo III, 1809-1886) is in the role of Aburaya Genemon, the actor Ichikawa Fukutaro I (Ichikawa Sai'nyu, 1843-1916) is in the role of musume (maiden) Osome, and the actor Nakamura Fukusuke (1839-1867) is in the role of Detsuchi Hisamatsu from an unknown play, staged at the Morita Theater in 1862.
