This view of Mt. Fuji across Lake Kawaguchi, with Unoshima (Cormorant Island) in the middle distance, is not recorded in either of Hisao Shimizu's two monographs on Shotei, nor was it found on the comprehensive website devoted to the artist, www.shotei.com, managed by the collector and scholar Marc Kahn.
