signed at lower left in kanji, Kakunen, with artist's square seal, Kaku, the title along the right edge followed by the date, Sen-kyuhyaku-sanjunana nen, hachi gatsu (1937, 8th month), with artist's copyright seal on the left margin, Hanken shoyu Tsuruoka Tokutaro, signed in pencil along the bottom margin, Kakunen Tsuruoka, with red artist's family seal, Tsuruoka, from a edition of 100, ca. 1937
