A young girl stretches and flexes her fingers, perhaps in preparation to begin practicing on the koto visible behind her. A packet of face powder with the label, Senjoko, is likely a reference to Bien Senjoko, produced by Mr. Sakamoto who sponsored numerous woodblock prints designed by Eisen which endorsed the cosmetic.
