19.1 by 29.3 cm

The pine needle symbol that Munakata frequently adds to his signature was the same mark his grandfather, a blacksmith, placed on his swords, and that his father, working in the Meiji period when samurai were forbiddent to carry swords, could only place on cutting tools.
