chuban tate-e 10 by 7 5/8 in., 25.5 by 19.3 cm

A group of four finely-dressed young women are gathered in an interior providing an opportunity to display an elegant selection of kimono and obi. One, in the foreground, is kneeling before a lacquer box which has elaborate silk cord tied across the lid suggesting that it may be a gift. Her companions appear to be waiting in anticipation to see what is contained within.

This series appears to be unrecorded for both the artist and the publisher.
