Dated and signed, Taisho kyunen jugatsu Goyo ga (Taisho 9 [1920], 10th month, by Goyo), with artist's seal Goyo. Posthumously printed.

A bust portrait of a beauty wearing a dark charcoal grey kimono decorated with peach and blue butterflies. She holds a towel, decorated in a similar palette of peach, soft orange and blue, to her face. A ring on her left hand with a dark stone is highlighted with metallic gold; the background is embellished with rich white mica.
