Taeko Takabe is a graduate of the Woman's Art College. In 1996 she studied art in New York City with the help of a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Culture. She is a member of the Japan Print Association. Her work is in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the British Museum and the American Library of Congress.
