snowy view the temple and an over-hanging pine at the water's edge; signed Hasui with artist's seal Kawase, the publisher (Hotei 'E') seal at lower left margin, Hanken shoyu fukyo mosha Watanabe Shozaburo (copyright ownership Watanabe Shozaburo), the title, Matsushima Godido no yuki, on the upper right margin, and dated below, Showa nananen junigatsu saku (made in Showa 7 [1932], December)

oban tate-e 15 3/8 by 10 3/8 in., 38.9 by 26.5 cm

There is a darker variant of this print which is illustrated in both Narazaki and Brown, who records that Narazaki preferred this lighter version (unillustrated in both publications).
