Cherry Blossoms at Ueno
(Ueno no Sakura)

the series title at upper left, Shitamachi setsugekka, followed by the print title, Ueno no Sakura, signed Bin-ni with artist's red seal Binnie, and pencil signed and numbered in the bottom bargin, 90/100 Paul Binnie, 1998

16 1/2 by 11 3/4 in., 42 by 30 cm

This series of only three designs, after the classic setsugekka (snow, moon, flower) grouping, was produced for a solo exhibition at the Tokyo American Club in 1998. It was very popular at the time, and the editions of 100 are nearly sold-out.
